Delicious home style meals. Traditional Chinese restaurant atmosphere and service. Includes a bowl of soup at the start and orange slices at the end of your meal. I always stop by for at least 1 meal when I am in SF.

6 friends and I came to eat here on a Saturday night, glad it opens late since we planned for an 8:30pm dinner and didn't want to feel rushed. It's a solid no frills Cantonese restaurant, we liked the food! It was just ran by one or two uncles, but the food came out quickly, and they were nice. I'd definitely come back!

I would call this place your hole-in-the-wall type of place. You don't come here for the ambiance but for the food--an excellent place to go to when you are picking up to go, and the prices are fantastic. The owners are friendly people, too. Food is on par when you need fried rice to sweet and sour pork. The fried flounder is my go-to dish, even the salt and pepper pork. The noodles dishes are reasonably priced and good too.

Great value for the price! Came in to order dinner takeout on a weekday. I think most ppl order takeout so the place wasn't busy. We ordered: - honey cashew prawns: cashews were super crunchy and cooked lightly in honey. The prawns were kinda small but the portions were adequate. I liked how the dish didn't taste overly sweet and it was a combo of sweet/savory. It's one of my faves and this one didn't disappoint. - chicken chow mein: noodles were chewy and cooked just right. The chicken and noodles ratio was great, generous with the chicken. A solid noodle dish! - beef fried rice: wish it tasted more of the wok flavor but the taste was not bad. The portions are huge and def a good option if you're looking for a rice dish. Comes with various meat selections. - combination veggies: flavorful and it came with a variety of crunchy veggies. The flavor was there and not too salty, which I prefer. - Mongolian beef: the beef was tender and chewy but not tough. The meat was marinated well and each bite was flavorful. One of my fave dishes that we ordered. Overall, a solid place for Chinese food! Seems authentic and they have a variety of classic Chinese dishes you can choose from. Food wasn't too oily or too salty, which is what I go for. Portions are huge so great value for the price point. Give this place a try if you're looking for classic Chinese food!

02.06.2023 - Updating my review, because food is expensive these days and the portion sizes they give here really makes the food worth it! It's also decently priced! I was craving for some beef chow fun and ended up ordering some to-go. They give a good portion here. The food is always hot too. I also ordered the Singapore style fried rice noodles and their portion size is amazing! The food came out hot and fresh, which is a must for me! The beef chow fun comes with the flat wide rice noodles, green onion, bean sprouts, beef, and onion. I love that the chow fun has great wok hay. You can actually taste it. The beef is really tender. They give a good amount of beef as well. The downside was that the noodles from the beef chow fun were choppy. I don't think it's always like that, but that was what I experienced. However, the noodles were still very good in terms of taste and texture. They were chewy and not too salty. The Singapore style fried rice noodles were very flavorful! You can really taste the curry flavor. The seasoning got stronger as I got to the bottom noodles, so it would be a good idea to mix the noodles up to even out the flavor. They packed the noodles to the brim of the to-go container!! The noodles touch the top of the container and that's how you know you're getting your money's worth!! The Singapore style fried rice noodle comes with a lot of ingredients! It has curry flavored rice noodles, green onion, bean sprouts, shrimp, and char siu. The curry isn't super spicy. In fact, adding chili oil to the noodles makes it taste even better. You can ask the restaurant for chili oil. They have actual pieces of chili in it. I do wish there was more green onion, but it's still really worth it!! I definitely would order these dishes from here again!
